Originally servants quarters to Backwell Down Manor, now lovingly restored and converted, The Den is a gloriously intimate and totally unique hideaway offering stylish bed and breakfast accommodation.

Nestled in the village of Backwell, within 36 acres of stunning parkland and gardens, it's a perfect spot for a few days away. Whether you prefer Brunel or Banksy, the vibrant city of Bristol, just six miles down the road, has plenty to offer, including arts, history and a vibrant food scene.

Guests can enjoy the abundance of great walks starting from the front door, and the beautiful Mendip Hills are just a short drive away. Alternatively, for the less energetic visitor, just relax and chill out by the pool, stroll through the gardens and woodlands and enjoy a pint and a bite to eat at our friendly local pub, found at the end of the drive!
